On January 25, the Indonesia-China Youth Forum was held in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, with the theme "Exploring the Potential of Indonesia-China Cooperation through the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway". The forum was organized by PT Kereta Cepat Indonesia China (KCIC), Indonesia's International Daily News, and the Confucius Institute at Al-Azhar University. Nearly a hundred people attended the forum, including Vice Chairman of the Confucius Institute at Al-Azhar University Munir, first President of KCIC Han Gaolu, Chairman of the Indonesian Entrepreneurs Association for Asia-Pacific Hong Peicai, researcher at the Centre for Strategic and International Studies (CSIS) Indonesia Vera Wijaya, as well as experts, scholars, business representatives, and teachers and students from the Confucius Institute at Al-Azhar University. In his speech, Munir said that the Indonesia-China Youth Forum helps enhance mutual understanding between Indonesia and China, providing valuable experience for better cooperation between the two countries in the future. Subsequently, Han Gaolu gave a detailed introduction to the construction process of the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway and expressed appreciation for the work attitude, efficiency, and quality of China's high-speed rail technology and engineering personnel. Guests shared and discussed topics such as the successful experience of China-Indonesia cooperation in building and operating the Jakarta-Bandung High-Speed Railway, the direction, challenges, and potential of future bilateral cooperation, and how to promote youth exchanges between the two countries. The atmosphere was very warm, and the teachers and students attending the forum actively participated in Q&A interactions and engaged in in-depth discussions with the guests.
