The South Jakarta Immigration Office opened an immigration service point at Pondok Indah Mall 3 in South Jakarta on Monday (June 11, 2024). The Director General of Immigration stated that this is a new breakthrough by the department aimed at making people's lives easier. Unlike service points in several previous malls, this immigration service point not only provides passport making and renewal services, but foreign citizens (WNA) can also extend their Visa on Arrival (VoA) there. Not only for Indonesian citizens, the immigration department is also providing convenience for foreign citizens through immigration service points, a facility not available abroad. On the other hand, the presence of the PIM 3 immigration service point also provides convenience for the community, as people can take care of immigration matters while shopping at the mall. Those needing services will be divided into five queues, with notifications sent via the M-Paspor application. This service point serves the community every day, but operating hours vary on weekends: Monday to Friday from 10:00 to 18:00 WIB, Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 to 14:00 WIB.
