On June 21, 2024, Huagang Group launched its first overseas factory project in Semarang, Indonesia. This marks a new milestone in the group's overseas market expansion and will also fill the gap in Indonesia's high-end functional elastic chemical fiber fabric manufacturing. As a new flagship project of the Belt and Road Initiative, the China-Indonesia 'Two Countries, Twin Parks' project focuses on bilateral cooperation, covering five major industries: marine fisheries, tropical agriculture, light industry textiles, mechanical electronics, and green mining. It aims to establish and cultivate cooperative industrial and supply chains between the two countries. Against this backdrop, many Chinese companies have established breeding or processing bases in Indonesia. Fujian Honggang Textile Technology Co., Ltd., located in the Chinese park of the China-Indonesia 'Two Countries, Twin Parks', is a subsidiary of Huagang Group. Last year, Huagang Group visited Indonesia multiple times for inspections and negotiations, actively planning to build a comprehensive production base in Indonesia. According to the relevant person in charge of the Yuanhong Functional Zone of Fuzhou New Area, the Huagang Group Indonesia Fuhua project, as one of the first major investment projects under the 'Two Countries, Twin Parks', was rapidly implemented with bilateral support, completing inspection, land acquisition, design planning, and infrastructure construction efficiently within just one year. It is reported that Huagang Group, through Fujian Honggang Textile Technology Co., Ltd., has established Fuhua Textile Co., Ltd. in Indonesia, building a large-scale modern textile factory integrating research and development, weaving, post-processing, and trade. Once completed, the project will provide 3,000 jobs for Indonesia, fill the gap in high-end functional elastic chemical fiber fabric manufacturing, and enhance the international competitiveness of Indonesia's textile industry. Zheng Chunguang, Vice President of Huagang Group and Chairman of the Indonesia Fuhua Project, stated that the next step will rely on the group's comprehensive strength and rich project management experience to scientifically plan, focus investment, and proceed in an orderly manner, ensuring the project is completed and put into operation on schedule, striving to make it a flagship project of the China-Indonesia 'Two Countries, Twin Parks'.
