Detailed Introduction

The Indonesian Hainan Association (Indonesian: Perhimpunan Hainan Indonesia) was established on August 31, 2002, and currently has 21 branches located in provincial capitals across Indonesia. There are approximately 200,000 to 300,000 Hainanese people in Indonesia. Every year, a special all-Indonesia hometown fellowship convention is held, with the venue rotating among various regions. The purpose is to enable Hainanese hometown associations from different regions to exchange ideas, share information about the living conditions, educational issues, and living environments of Hainanese people in each region, so that the association can have a more thorough understanding of the hometown community's information.
