To further strengthen unity, mutual assistance, and win-win cooperation among Shandong entrepreneurs in Indonesia, and to deepen integrated development in Indonesia, Southeast Asia, and beyond, after one and a half years of careful preparation, with the deep care and strong support of leaders at all levels of Shandong Provincial Departments, and the active promotion of all sectors of society, the "Indonesia Shandong General Chamber of Commerce" was solemnly inaugurated in Jakarta on June 2nd. This important moment marks that Shandong entrepreneurs in Indonesia now have their own "home," and also symbolizes that Shandong Province's economic and trade cooperation has entered a new historical stage.
At the unveiling ceremony, distinguished guests including Yu Jianlin, Vice President and Secretary-General of Shandong Provincial Association for Foreign Investment and Economic Cooperation; Chen Xin, Vice Chairman of the Indonesian Chinese General Chamber of Commerce; Gao Pengcai, Jakarta Shandong Fellow Townsmen Association; Dr. Wu Mingli, Indonesia-China Business Council; Hong Yongnian, President of Jiangxi Chamber of Commerce in Indonesia; Lin Wei, President of Surabaya Chinese Chamber of Commerce; Wang Jiemin, President of Cambodia Shandong General Chamber of Commerce; Lin Nengying, Chairman of the Lin Clan Association; and Li Feng, Chief Representative of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, gathered together to witness this historic moment. In addition, presidents of brother chambers of commerce from various provinces in Indonesia, as well as heads and representatives from all walks of life and more than 200 Shandong natives living in Indonesia, attended the inauguration ceremony to offer their blessings for the establishment of the chamber.
At the beginning of the ceremony, the first council units and the first president unit of the Indonesia Shandong General Chamber of Commerce were announced. The assembly elected Yue Jianbo as the first president of the Indonesia Shandong General Chamber of Commerce. President Yue gave a detailed introduction to the chamber's preparatory work, its future key tasks, and development direction, providing all members with a clearer understanding of the chamber's future growth. He also expressed the determination and perseverance of the Indonesia Shandong General Chamber of Commerce. We believe that under President Yue's leadership, all members of the chamber will unite, work together, and seek common development, and the Indonesia Shandong General Chamber of Commerce will grow stronger and more brilliant.
