It enjoys a good reputation and broad social influence among Indonesian business communities and Chinese community organizations. The Indonesian Chinese Entrepreneur Association was founded in 2001 under the initiative of founders Yang Kelin, Chen Dajiang, and others. Its headquarters is located in Jakarta, the capital of Indonesia, and it has four branches in East Java, West Java, Central Java, and Bali as well as East and West Nusa Tenggara. It is the first overseas Guangdong community federation formed jointly by Guangzhao, Hakka, and Chaozhou associations.rnrnHistorical BackgroundrnrnThe founding ceremony and the inaugural board of directors' inauguration of Guanglianhui were grandly held on November 13, 2007, at the Sun City Tongle Restaurant in Jakarta.
