The Yuanhong Functional Area of Fuzhou New Area recently announced that a consortium led by China Communications Second Navigation Bureau has won the bid for the China-Indonesia Economic and Trade Innovation Development Demonstration Park Food Industrial Park (Phase II) project, with construction expected to begin in the first half of this year. It is reported that this project is a key infrastructure supporting project for the China-Indonesia 'Two Countries, Twin Parks' initiative, with a total investment of 2.567 billion yuan. It covers 18 sub-projects, including upgrading projects for the western and eastern zones of Yuanhong Investment, Yuanhong resettlement housing (Phase I), the road project for Yuan Cheng Road (from Haicheng Road to Hongjia Avenue section), green spaces around Sanchuang Park, green spaces around Yuanhong School and Hospital, and the Houfeng drainage channel project. The project adopts a 'investment-construction-operation integration' model. It will build 2.39 kilometers of new municipal roads, approximately 170,000 square meters of landscape area, and 536,600 square meters of new building area, providing about 280,000 square meters of industrial plant space for investment attraction in the park. Yuanhong resettlement housing (Phase I) is a core part of the Food Industrial Park (Phase II) project. As the first resettlement housing project in the China-Indonesia 'Two Countries, Twin Parks' area, it has a total building area of about 120,000 square meters, providing 743 resettlement units with various layouts ranging from 45 to 300 square meters. The project aims to become a benchmark resettlement housing development within the China-Indonesia 'Two Countries, Twin Parks' area and is planned to be completed and put into use in 2026. The supporting upgrading projects for the western and eastern zones of Yuanhong Investment mainly include the upgrading of more than ten roads such as Honghai West Road, Yuanhai First Road, Yuanhai Second Road, Yuanhai Third Road, Yongbin Road, Yuanchuang Road, Yuankun Road, Pengyang Road, and Liangcuo Road, as well as the improvement of surrounding building facades. 'We are sprinting from the start of the year! We will become the main force in park construction with a competitive spirit, a hardworking attitude, and a determined mindset,' said Cai Lin, manager of the Engineering Management Department of Yuanhong Two Countries Twin Parks Group. After completion, the project will further improve the park's infrastructure, optimize the development environment, enhance food safety guarantees, and inject more momentum into building the China-Indonesia 'Two Countries, Twin Parks' into a new flagship project for the joint construction of the 'Belt and Road' and a gateway platform for open cooperation with ASEAN countries.
